After my downfall on the master cleanse yesterday, I thought stuff it, and have continued all day today.
I weighed myself first thing this morning and I weighed 140lbs. Virtually no weight loss for 10 days of eating nothing, only drinking lemonade. I know the weight is going to come straight back on again.
Today, I’ve still been craving protein and also sugary things, due to the fact that I’ve ben living off the lemonade for the last 10 days which has a high sugar content due to the maple syrup.I’ve now developed a very sweet tooth, which I didn’t really have before.
I sat and watched “super skinny me - the race to size zero” on the tele tonight. Funnily enough, one of them had done the master cleanse and lost 7 lbs in 1 week.
The first time I did the fast, I lost a lot of weight in the 10 days, but subsequent fasting haven’t hd the same results. I think the body is amazingly adaptive and I’m just training mine to retain fat more as it is kinda starting to know what to expect. I think, now, for weightloss, the fast just isn’t going to cut it any more. I’m going to have a few days break and then I’m going to follow my own eating plan base on my own research.
